Horrible - cant open the app

Ive been using this app for the past year just to track my cycle. For the past 3 months there are days that I have been unable to have the app open, it sits at the main screen with the womens head on it. Eventually it opens which is great but now I dont remember which day I started or ended my cycle because I couldnt get into the app when I needed to. I was hoping for some sort of update but Ive been trying to open the app for 4 days now and nothing! This happens too frequent that I am looking at other apps as I write this. Giving up!
